DPP PRESIDENT ANTONIO MWANZA REFLECTS ON 2025.

As we close the chapter of 2025, we do so with hearts that carry stories only God fully knows.

This year has tested many of us in ways we never imagined. Some endured deep personal heartbreaks. Others walked through seasons of brokenness, betrayal, loss, disappointment, and emotional pain. For many, 2025 was not gentle.
It stretched faith, challenged hope, and forced strength we didn’t even know we had. Yet here we are — still standing, still breathing, still believing. That alone is a testimony that God is not yet done with us. Our story is still being written.

As a nation, we too have endured. We have faced economic pressures, rising costs of living, loadshedding, youth unemployment, uncertainty, frustration, and moments where hope felt distant.

Many families struggled to put food on the table. Many young people questioned their future. Many citizens felt the weight of national challenges deeply and personally. Yet, as Zambians, we endured — with dignity, patience, and faith.

As we look ahead, we stand on the threshold of a significant season. The road toward the 2026 elections reminds us that our nation’s future matters, that unity matters, that peace matters.

May we walk forward not divided by anger, but guided by wisdom; not driven by fear, but anchored in hope. May we choose dialogue over hatred, truth over lies, and love for our country over personal interests.
