ZAMBIA SEEKS STRONGER EDUCATION AND DIGITAL PARTNERSHIPS WITH KENYA FOLLOWING EMIS BENCHMARKING VISIT
Zambia’s High Commissioner to Kenya, Mr. Alfred Musemuna, has commended Kenya for the significant strides it has made in digital transformation and education systems, urging a Zambian delegation currently on a study tour to maximise the learning opportunity and strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries. Speaking when he received a delegation from Zambia’s Ministry of Education led by Director – Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Mr. Victor Musangu, Mr. Musemuna encouraged the team to leverage Kenya’s experience to enhance Zambia’s Education Management Information System (EMIS). The delegation is in Kenya on a benchmarking visit aimed at strengthening Zambia’s EMIS to improve data management, policy implementation and resource allocation in the education sector.
