ZAMBIA HIGH COMMISSION REAFFIRMS SUPPORT FOR YOUNG LEGAL PROFESSIONALS

The Zambia High Commission in Nairobi has reaffirmed Government’s commitment to nurturing young legal professionals as Zambia’s Deputy High Commissioner to Kenya, Mr. Exnobert Zulu, engaged law students from Cavendish University who are representing the country at the 5th Annual East Africa Pre-Moot and Arbitration Conference.

The prestigious conference, hosted by Strathmore University, has attracted participants from 18 countries under the Africa in the Moot programme.

The initiative prepares African law students for the globally acclaimed Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, one of the world’s foremost competitions in international commercial arbitration.

Zambia faced Rwanda in its opening round earlier today and is scheduled to compete against Lesotho later this afternoon, marking a significant moment for the country’s growing presence in international legal scholarship.

During his interaction with the team, Mr. Zulu commended the students for flying the national flag high and urged them to remain focused and resilient throughout the competition.

The High Commission expressed confidence in the team’s ability to compete at the highest level and reiterated its support for initiatives that empower young professionals, strengthen legal expertise, and enhance Zambia’s visibility on the global stage.

This is according to a statement issued by Zambia High Commission, Nairobi Kenya.
