 Information and Media Permanent Secretary, Mr. Thabo Kawana, this morning witnessed the evacuation of Musician General Ozzy, alias David Banda, and his colleague by the Zambia Flying Doctor Service from Monze to Lusaka, following a fatal road traffic accident.

Mr. Kawana reaffirmed Government's unwavering commitment to providing quality healthcare to all citizens, underscoring the importance of equitable access to medical services.

Government is evacuating conjoined twins from Kapiri-Mposhi and another patient from Kabwe District for specialised care, highlighting its dedication to providing complex medical services.

The Flying Doctor Service has received new aircraft, including a helicopter, significantly enhancing its operational capacity to reach remote areas and provide timely assistance.

The expanded capabilities will contribute to improved healthcare outcomes across the country, testament to Government's proactive and citizen-centric approach to healthcare delivery.
