UTH RECORDS NINE CHRISTMAS BABIES

The University Teaching Hospitals (UTH) Women and Newborn Hospital has recorded nine babies born on Christmas Day including two boys and seven girls.

Presenting the Christmas hampers to mothers, Vice President Mutale Nalumango said that the gesture is meant to support and celebrate women who brought new life into the world on the festive day.

Mrs. Nalumango has said that the donation is aimed at sharing joy with the mothers and appreciating the strength and care they showed during childbirth.

She has explained that the hampers also includes food items for the mothers, noting that proper nutrition is important because babies are nourished through their mothers.

The Vice President has encouraged women to consistently take their children for under-five health services, emphasizing that regular check-ups and monitoring help ensure children grow healthy and strong.

Meanwhile, The University Teaching Hospitals (UTH) Women and Newborn Hospital Chief Nursing Officer Beatrice Mundia has expressed gratitude for gesture.
