The Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC), through its Anti – Money Laundering Investigations Unit, has formally warned and cautioned His Grace, the Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Lusaka, Dr. Alick Banda.

DEC Public Relations Officer Allan Tamba says this follows ongoing investigations into his alleged unlawful possession of a Toyota Hilux Motor Vehicle, being property of the Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA).

Mr. Tamba says particulars of the matter are that; Dr. Banda, on dates unknown, but between 22nd April 2021 and 27th December 2023, did have in his possession a motor vehicle Toyota Hilux, property which is reasonably suspected to have been unlawfully obtained from ZRA.
