NKANA FC EXTENDS CONTRACT OF HARRISON CHISALA

Nkana Football Club has announced that captain Harrison ‘Lewa’ Chisala has signed a contract extension that will keep him at the club until June 2028.

Chisala, who became club captain in 2024, remains a key member of the team and an important figure both on and off the pitch.

Speaking after signing the new deal, Chisala expressed his delight at continuing his journey with the club.

“I am really happy to have signed a new contract with Nkana Football Club. Extending my stay here means I continue to be part of a big Kalampa family which is hungry for success and wants to do better every game,” Chisala said.

“The club has the most passionate supporters and we want to repay them with good performances that will bring glory to the team.”

The 28-year-old midfielder joined Nkana from Mining Rangers in 2015 and has since developed into a key figure in midfield.

Chief Executive Officer Mwansa Kapyanga welcomed the contract extension.

“We are delighted to continue our journey together with Harrison, who continues to play an important part in our team. His leadership on and off the pitch has been full of quality and we are hopeful that he will continue to rise in his role,” Kapyanga said.

This is according to a statement issued by Mike Mubanga Media and Communications Manager at Nkana Football Club
