Lusaka, Zambia, 6 March 2026

Access Bank Zambia has stepped up its commitment to shaping Africa’s future with a K100,000 investment in the C-Suite Africa NextGen Leadership Summit 2026, an initiative dedicated to developing the continent’s next generation of leaders.

The NextGen Leadership Summit 2026 scheduled for May 23, 2026, at the Ciela Resort & Spa in Lusaka,is expected to convene emerging leaders, industry experts, and innovators from across the continent, providing a platform for dialogue, networking, and leadership development.

Speaking during the presentation at Access House yesterday,Bank Executive Director Helen Lunda emphasized that the Bank’s vision extends beyond financial services to driving meaningful impact across the continent.

“At Access Bank, our ambition to be the world’s most respected African bank is anchored not just on scale, but on the impact we create. We are intentional about supporting platforms that unlock potential, expand access, and prepare young leaders to thrive in a dynamic global economy,” she said.

Mrs. Lunda noted that the Bank’s support for the NextGen Leadership Summit reflects its broader commitment to capacity building and inclusive development.

“For us, ‘Access’ is more than a name, it is a responsibility to remove barriers and create opportunities. Many young leaders possess the talent but lack access to networks and platforms that can propel them forward. Through this partnership, we are helping bridge that gap,” she added.

Access Bank Zambia continues to invest in initiatives that empower young people, including its Graduate Programme, while also driving Pan-African integration by enabling businesses to scale beyond borders. The Bank recognizes that achieving these ambitions requires not only financial solutions, but also strong ecosystems that foster collaboration and innovation.

The Bank also commended the Summit’s focus on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, particularly its support for the Bantu Queens initiative, which uses sport as a tool for women’s empowerment and social inclusion.

Access Bank Zambia remains committed to partnerships that contribute to sustainable development and position Africa’s future leaders for success.

Speaking at the same event, C-Suite Head of Partnerships, Chikondi Mwanza said Access Bank is not just a financial institution but a connector of markets, abridge across economies and a brand that understands that Africa’s growth story

is not local but continental.

“And that perspective is exactly what makes this partnership so powerful. Because C-Suite Africa is also built on the same belief,” Mr. Mwanza said.
