MUNALI MP LAUNCHES CDF PROJECTS



Munali Member of Parliament Mike Mposha, has commissioned several key Constituency Development Fund (CDF) community projects in Munali Constituency aimed at improving residents’ welfare and enhancing service delivery.


The projects commissioned include two community grounds in Kaunda Square and Mtendere, a 1x3 classroom block at Kalingalinga Primary School equipped with 60 desks, a semi-detached teachers’ house at Chainda Primary School and a rehabilitated solar-powered borehole at Kamanga Clinic.


Speaking during the commissioning ceremony, Mr. Mposha who is also Minister of Green Economy and Environment noted that the projects were not merely structures, but symbols of hope, progress and the Government’s commitment to uplifting communities.


The Minister expressed satisfaction that the projects demonstrate the practical impact of the Constituency Development Fund under the New Dawn Government.


Mr. Mposha further highlighted that, through the expanded CDF, communities are now directly benefiting from development initiatives tailored to address their actual needs in education, health, sports, water and sanitation, among other sectors.


At the same event, the Minister handed over 2026 CDF skills development bursaries and secondary boarding school bursaries valued at K6,928,517.81, as well as youth, women and community empowerment grants worth K2,825,000.00 to successful beneficiaries.

Mposha assuring community members that he remains accessible through party structures and would continue working tirelessly to support the people of Munali Constituency.
